how many credit card air miles would it take to fly from Los Angeles to Japan?

my friend said i could use his credit card air miles for a plane ticket from Los Angeles to Osaka Japan. He has about 74,000 points or miles, i'm not sure how it works. does anyone know if that will get me there?
