Why is Citibank Credit Card Company trying to Destroy Me?

I cannot believe this. I just received notices that Citibank Credit Card Company is raising my interest rate from 17.9% to 29.99% in 30 days. I have the option of paying off the $10,000.00 I owe them, but where am I going to get that kind of money?

You have the right to close the card and pay the balance on the original terms. I wouldn't pay a 29%, no way even if my credit score drops a little due to the card closed.

If you decide to close do not call them, write a letter and send
